What matters are covered?

Here you can report misconduct of public interest, such as human trafficking, economic crime, environmental crime, serious security deficiencies and misconduct, fraud, bribery and embezzlement.

Who can report via the whistleblower function?

According to the law, those covered are employees and former employees, hired personnel, elected representatives, those applying for a position, an internship or a volunteer assignment, subcontractors and suppliers. If you are not covered as above, you must instead use other channels for comments, deviations and other matters.

Anyone who reports in accordance with the Whistleblower Act is exempt from liability in case of breach of confidentiality and is protected by the law against reprisals and preventive measures from the organisation about whom the report is made.

What if my issue or I are not covered as above?

As an employee: contact your immediate manager, HR manager or chief protection officer. Others: please contact via info@ostergotladsmuseum.se or 013-230 300.

How do I make a report?

A report can be made in writing, orally or at a physical meeting by contacting:

Mari Trollvik,
HR and quality manager at Bohuslän's museum
0522-65 65 71
vissel@bohuslansmuseum.se

Can I be anonymous?

A received notification becomes a public document, but information that can identify you is subject to confidentiality and is not disclosed. You can also be completely anonymous in your report, but we cannot then provide you with any feedback or ask for more information. Registration is handled only by authorised persons.

Who receives my report?

Reports are received by an external independent person who makes an initial assessment of the case and based on that decides on further processing. If further investigation is required, the chairman of the board of the museum is involved and, if necessary, an external party is hired.

What happens after I submit a report?

Provided that you have provided contact information and have not waived your right to feedback, you will receive confirmation within seven days that your notification has been received. Within three months, you must have received feedback on what measures have been taken based on your report. If you make your report anonymously, there is no possibility of giving you feedback, but we will of course process your report based on the information you have provided.
