Trapphallen - The stairwell
The museum is built in the style of functionalism. It became popular during the 1930s. The idea was that the design should reflect its purpose and be built after its functions. In the hallway there are several features visible that are typical for the style. For example, the large windows with their natural light. The rounded shapes of the stairs, and the design of the lamp hanging there.
